Private Equity Delivers the Green

TriplePunit posted this. Private Equity firm KKR released the results of their Green Portfolio Program. At first glance, the results appear impressive. Without conducting a solid due diligence on their methodology and reporting, the “green” impact is meaningful, but the “financial” impact is staggering.

It would be interesting to peruse the list of investors to see which endowments and foundations are invested, if any. There are several foundations within the US that have missions/purpose/objectives within the environmental space. Are they on the KKR investor list? What portion of their foundation assets are invested in companies that support/impact their mission?
